Import a CSV spreadsheet, a LinkedIn connections export, or contacts exported as vCard (iCloud.com → Contacts → select all → Export vCard, or macOS Contacts → File → Export). Each row becomes a person with their notes as the first journal entry.

CSV columns (header row, any order — only First Name is required): First Name, Last Name, Company, Position, Email, Mobile, Comments, Contact plan, Follow up on date, Meeting booked, Follow up at location / on hold, Last action, Location. The last five decide which bucket a person lands in above.
